Howard Brown exists to eliminate the disparities in healthcare experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people through research, education and the provision of services that promote health and wellness.
Founded in 1974, Howard Brown Health is now one of the nation’s largest LGBTQ organizations. With an annual budget of $200 million, the agency serves more than 34,000 adults and youth in its diverse health and social service delivery system focused around eight major programmatic divisions:

THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be the organization’s top finance executive with frequent and regular Board exposure. The CFO will help determine and manage the organization’s financial strategy and operations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other regulatory requirements. The CFO leads development and deployment of fiscal strategies. Functional areas under the CFO’s responsibility include accounting, analysis, auditing, budgeting, compliance, investments, risk management, and taxation.
