The Role of Assistant Vice President and Assistant Treasurer of Capital Finance
The Ohio State University (OSU) seeks a talented and experienced professional to serve as the Assistant Vice President and Assistant Treasurer of Capital Finance (AVPAT). Reporting to Jake Wozniak, Treasurer, Vice President of Financial Services and Deputy CFO, the AVPAT oversees capital project financing including: the issuance and management of external debt; the operations and financial position of the university’s internal bank; and financial oversight of certain strategic initiatives. Internal bank and debt responsibilities include federal tax and securities law compliance, debt payment operations, and rating agency and investor relations. The AVPAT is also responsible for overseeing the Office of Financial Services participation in development of annual and long-term capital plans, leading certain university strategic projects, producing reports for executive leadership, and attracting, developing, and retaining a staff of talented financial professionals.
