We partnered with Clayton, Dubilier & Rice on the search for a Senior Associate of Foundation Programs. Clayton, Dubilier & Rice is an investment firm with an investment strategy predicated on building stronger, more profitable businesses.
The search resulted in the recruitment of Yassi Davoodi to the role.
Davoodi is driven by CD&R’s values and passionate about the Foundation’s purpose to provide “Equity through Opportunity.” In this role, she oversees the local dimension of the Foundation’s New York strategy. Davoodi manages the grant cycle, collaborates with Talent Solution Partners, supports the Foundation Grants & Service (FGS) Council, and leads CD&R’s employee volunteerism in New York.
Davoodi joined the Foundation from uAspire, a national nonprofit organization that aims to ensure that all young people have the financial information and resources necessary to find an affordable path to and through college. She served as Vice President of Development and led uAspire’s successful expansion to New York.
Prior to uAspire, Davoodi worked at iMentor and City Year New York.
Davoodi is a graduate of The College of Wooster.
