Koya partnered with Wheaton College on the appointment of Roger Stackpoole as Vice President for Finance and Administration.
Stackpoole comes to Wheaton from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY, where he has served as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. During his tenure, Stackpoole played a leadership role in guiding strategic and master planning efforts that resulted in a variety of new initiatives—from enhanced administrative services and new programs to a $160 million investment in new and renovated campus facilities. His collaboration with the provost was identified by peers as an exemplary partnership.
Prior to Le Moyne, Stackpoole held posts as assistant treasurer and controller at the Rochester Institute of Technology, controller at both Hobart and William Smith Colleges and St. Lawrence University, and associate controller at Colgate University. He began his career as the supervising senior in-charge accountant at the Syracuse office of KPMG.
Stackpoole earned a bachelor of science in accounting from Le Moyne College and an MBA from Georgetown University.
