We partnered with the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) on the search for a Chief People Officer. For more than 150 years, BAM has been the home for adventurous artists, audiences, and ideas—engaging both global and local communities. With world-renowned programming in theater, dance, music, opera, film, and much more, BAM showcases the work of emerging artists and innovative modern masters.
Our work resulted in the recruitment of Missy Flower to the role.
Prior to BAM, Flower spent six years as the Chief Administrative Officer of HELP USA, a human services organization that provided support for people experiencing homelessness. As CAO, she had strategic oversight for HR, IT, Legal, and Quality Assurance. While at HELP, Flower led numerous initiatives including the Covid response plan and the creation and implementation of an impactful DEI program.
Flower holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from New York University.
