Marty Bauwens

Vice President, Social Enterprise and Supply Chain Solutions

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee

Koya | Diversified Search Group partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to recruit its first Vice President, Social Enterprise and Supply Chain Solutions.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is one of the largest and most comprehensive food banks in the nation. One of Second Harvest’s most innovative and successful programs is Project Preserve – a $60 million+ social enterprise that provides low-cost, shelf-stable foods to partner agencies and the Feeding America network.

With the growth and success of Project Preserve, Second Harvest sought an executive to serve in the newly created role. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, this leader will oversee all aspects of Project Preserve; including business development and strategic vision for the enterprise.

Our work resulted in the recruitment of Marty Bauwens to the role.

Marty previously spent 28 years with McDonald’s Corporation in Chicago, Illinois where he most recently served as Senior Director, U.S. Field and Supply Chain Solutions for McDonald’s U.S. business, managing nearly $5 billion in annual expenditure of packaging, logistics, distribution, equipment and promotional categories for McDonald’s 14,000 U.S. restaurants.

Marty has a B.S. from Augustana College
