We partnered with Prime Coalition on the search for a Director of Finance & Operations. Prime Coalition is a nonprofit organization that works with philanthropists and other mission-driven organizations and individuals to support sustainable, effective, and scalable solutions to climate change.
Our work resulted in the recruitment of Julie Remmelts to the role.
She has strong project management and process improvement experience to her work. She is a transformational and insightful nonprofit leader with a proven track record of leading operations and financial systems for over 12 years. She has extensive experience designing and managing financial reports & budgets, implementing process improvements, and leading across departments.
Remmelts is a high energy leader, enthusiastic about the power of technology to improve mission-driven outcomes.
Remmelts was most recently the Vice President of Operations and Finance at Headwaters Foundation for Justice (HFJ) and led HFJ’s finance and business operations; human resources work; and information technology systems.
She lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Justin. She loves running around the lakes and is usually training for her next race. When Remmelts is not running or working, she enjoys reading and cooking.
Remmelts holds a BS from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. She earned her MBA from Grand Valley State University.
