Koya | Diversified Search Group partnered with the Cornell SC Johnson School of Business on the search for an Executive Director Admissions and Scholarship. Our work resulted in the appointment of Eddie Asbie.
In his new role, Asbie will be responsible for the two-year MBA program and the AMBA program.
Asbie most recently served as the Associate Director, Admissions and Financial Aid at Johnson. In this role, Asbie established himself as a dedicated, caring, affable, and highly successful MBA admissions recruiter and officer. In his nine years at Johnson, Asbie recruited thousands of outstanding students into the Johnson family. Asbie also led the diversity, veteran, and dual-degree admissions processes, consistently closing impressive and sizable cohorts of impactful students.
More recently, Asbie served as Interim Executive Director of Admissions and Scholarship, increasing applications in the two-year and one-year programs by 24% and 33%, respectively. Asbie closed a strong AMBA class of 58, and is well on his way to reporting an improved two-year Class of 2023.
Asbie holds a Master’s degree in Student Personnel Administration from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Buffalo.
