We partnered with Colorado Enterprise Fund on the search for a Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. Colorado Enterprise Fund was created in 1976 to expand access to financing and offer flexible terms to business owners when traditional lenders could not.

The search resulted in the recruitment of Dave Mesko to the role.

Mesko has more than 20 years of experience working in the private sector, higher education, and nonprofit environments.

Mesko is passionate about supporting mission-driven organizations and the people they employ and serve.

Throughout his career, he has led strategic transformations by focusing on building collaborative organizational culture, prioritizing effective governance, and creating sustainable financial models and infrastructure.

Mesko previously served as the CEO for the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC).

Before joining the IASLC, Mesko worked at the Council on Foundations serving as its CFO and its COO.

Mesko also spent a decade at Georgetown University, as the CFO of the School of Nursing & Health Studies.

Mesko holds a Bachelor of Science from Western Carolina University. He earned his MBA from American University.
