Koya | Diversified search Group partnered with Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains (PPRM) to recruit its next President and CEO.
One of the largest Planned Parenthood affiliates in the country, PPRM delivers services through its 23 health centers in Colorado, New Mexico, Southern Nevada, and Wyoming.
The search resulted in the appointment of Adrienne Mansanares to the role.
As the first Latina CEO of PPRM, Mansanares brings two decades of experience leading organizations to new innovative and inclusive heights.
Mansanares steps into the CEO position with deep knowledge of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. She joined the Board and served as PPRM’s Board Chair for several years, and then was recruited as PPRM’s Chief Experience Officer in 2016. Since joining PPRM, Mansanares has contributed to growing the annual operating budget, increasing patient volume, expanding clinical care and service mix, and developing a sophisticated government affairs strategy.
She has a proven successful record of helping organizations communicate their vision, establish strategic priorities, mobilize key stakeholders, improve culture, and develop high-performing teams. Prior to PPRM, Mansanares served as COO of the Colorado Nonprofit Associate and Director of Operations at the Denver Foundation. A passionate supporter of, and advocate for marginalized communities, Mansanares started her career as an organizer and has brought many elements of that work into her leadership style today. Today, Mansanares serves on the national Planned Parenthood Latino Task Force.
Mansanares’ community involvement includes membership on the St. Elizabeth’s School Board of Trustees, founder of LatinasGive!, and a Board Member at the Women’s Foundation of Colorado. She has also served as Board Chair of Community Shares of Colorado and was a fellow at the Latino Leadership Institute.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Denver.
