Yvette Bahena is a community advocate, educator, and budget analyst whose life mission is to do work that uplifts underrepresented communities.

In her current role as a Search Coordinator, Yvette supports search teams and recruits senior executives for mission-driven clients. Nonetheless, her primary focus is on search operations and project management. Yvette also supports special projects for the Chicago office.

Before entering executive search, Yvette began her career in City Government. She transitioned her career into Higher Education driven by discovering her passion for the development of people, diversity and striving for equity representation. Yvette has gained expertise in programming, advising, project management, policy, and diversity education.

She has used her identity as a first-generation Latina, bilingual in Spanish and English to support and elevate others with similar stories. Influenced by her own identity, her Jesuit Education has also shaped her mission to do service rooted in social justice and solidarity.

She is active with her community, as part of her church choir, volunteers at her former Cristo Rey Highschool, and supports her family’s hometown association.
