Based in New York, Tracy is the Global Managing Partner for Media, Entertainment, and Sports, and drives our firm’s presence in this dynamic industry. Her leadership and client reputation has been pivotal in elevating the firm’s Media, Entertainment, and Sports practice, and expansion of the Chief Communications Officer function practice. As a member of the Executive Committee, she works closely with the CEO on strategic initiatives relative to the firm’s continued growth and culture.
With over 30 years of experience in executive search, Tracy has partnered with large media conglomerates and venture-backed start-up companies alike. Her areas of expertise include C-Suite level roles with specific functional expertise in recruiting Chief Marketing, Communications, Revenue, and Digital Officers, as well as executives in branding, advertising, and technology-related functions.
Tracy’s impressive portfolio of clients is represented by globally renowned clients in media, entertainment, sports, broader consumer and luxury/lifestyle brands. Tracy has also been instrumental in scaling search operations for several search firms during her career, opening multiple offices across the Americas.
Prior to rejoining Diversified Search group Tracy served as a senior leader for a global boutique executive search and advisory firm; opened and managed the first New York office for Diversified Search (now Diversified Search Group) in 2016; built and sold her own executive search firm; and built the first-ever in-house function for a multimedia company. Tracy began her career in the cable television industry at its inception when cable was the emerging, innovative technology platform.
Tracy is passionate about brands with social responsibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion woven into the foundation of their DNA and finding leaders who transform organizations through this shared commitment.
Outside of work, Tracy can be found spending time with her husband Bruce, her son Chase and the numerous dogs she encounters during her (very) early morning jogs where she is affectionally called “the treat lady” by all dog owners.
