Staci Williams Seeley was born into a family of educators, and she has gained expansive experience in the field for over 30 years. College counselor, nonprofit executive director, development director, middle and high school teacher, college mentor, and trustee are among the many roles she has held at independent schools and colleges.

Before joining Storbeck Search | Diversified Search Group, Staci served as the college mentor at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation. Previously, she worked in management at MetLife; as a teacher and administrator at Concord Academy, Groton School, and Lawrence Academy; as a director of Upper School Counseling at Prep for Prep in New York; and as a development director at two New York City charter schools.

An active volunteer on behalf of educational institutions and nonprofit organizations, Staci has served as a trustee of Belmont Day School, St. Andrew’s School (DE), and Bowdoin College. At Bowdoin, she also served as Alumni Council President. She is the immediate past Board Chair and a current trustee at Montgomery School (PA), a PreK-8 school where she supported a head of school search and transition, led a tuition reset, and managed enrollment and pandemic-era dilemmas. With over 25 years of trustee service on independent school boards, Staci has supervised two heads of school and worked with five more. Based in New York City, Staci is a frequent presenter and advisor to NAIS, NYSAIS, and ADVIS members on DEI and governance issues.
