With a career spanning over 35 years, Ron Chod, MD, brings a wealth of experience in clinical practice, academic leadership, and integrated delivery system administration. His profound understanding of the intricate business and leadership challenges impacting healthcare institutions is complemented by his widespread connections with academic and hospital leaders across the nation.

Dr. Chod’s executive search practice is national in scope and highly focused on academic physician and scientific leaders, including deans, department chairs, division heads, center directors, and scientific program directors.

His extensive network includes key connections across AAMC institutions throughout the United States, bolstering the effectiveness of key leadership searches.

Prior to his venture in executive search, Dr. Chod served in leadership roles as the Vice President for Clinical Affairs at BJC Healthcare, and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Clinical Affairs at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

He also held an administrative appointment as the Executive Director of the Faculty Practice Plan and an academic appointment as Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

Dr. Chod is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He served his internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. In 2003, he earned his MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.
