Jennifer Mason, PhD

Jennifer has two decades of experience working with organizations across the education-workforce ecosystem, including higher education institutions, edtech companies, associations, foundations, and other change-making organizations.

Prior to joining DSG, Jennifer managed her own consulting practice where her clients included Johns Hopkins University, the National Institute of Health, the American Council on Education, the World Bank Education Group, and tech companies ranging from small startups to Amazon Web Services. Her work focused on helping leaders set strategy, manage change, and engage and communicate with stakeholders.

Previously, Jennifer was a Practice Manager at EAB. There, she helped colleges and universities across the US develop internal leadership talent, increase faculty diversity, improve student success, expand online education, and address other institutional priorities.

Earlier in her career, Jennifer held faculty positions at Skidmore College and Southern Methodist University and was an Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in the Humanities Consortium at UCLA. She is the author of multiple publications on advancing change in postsecondary institutions and a scholarly book on American literature published by Johns Hopkins University Press.
