She demonstrates a keen ability to identify and champion diverse talent pools, with a particular focus on senior academic and administrative leadership roles. Carly’s distinctive combination of practical experience and theoretical knowledge uniquely positions her to navigate the complexities of executive recruitment in the education sector with a robust commitment to equity and inclusion, particularly in academic leadership roles. Dr. DiGiovanni brings search expertise in senior leadership roles such as President/Chancellor, Provost, CFO, VPHR, Deans, and other cabinet roles, both academic and administrative, at a comprehensive range of public and private institutions from small liberal arts colleges to large R1 AAU universities. She delivers professional results with ingenuity and creativity, complemented by a demonstrated acumen for leadership and strategic planning.

Before Storbeck, Carly worked for New York University in the work of institutional strategic planning, university governance, fundraising and advancement, and creating and facilitating programmatic initiatives focused on issues of diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging across the University community. For her doctoral dissertation, Carly Rose researched the career decisions of Black and Latinx PhDs, focusing on how these groups experience the transition from completion of PhD to entry into the professoriate and how institutions might find ways to improve representation among the faculty.
