Beth Schaefer is a Managing Director at Koya Partners, part of Diversified Search Group. With more than 20 years of corporate experience in human resources roles and over a decade of search experience in the corporate and higher education fields, she specializes in searches for senior administrative and academic leadership roles in human resources, financial management, enrollment management, institutional research, deans, and other areas of academic administration.
Schaefer has led searches for Boston College, Emory University, Ithaca College, Penn State University, Michigan State University, Northeastern University, Seattle University, Stony Brook University, Vanderbilt University, University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of North Carolina, Wayne State University, the University of Washington and Yale University, among others.
Prior to joining Koya Partners, Beth spent five years with Neumann Executive Search Partners (formerly Brill Neumann Associates), first as a senior consultant and later as principal. At Neumann, she developed a wide network of contacts through her work in a variety of areas across academic and administrative leadership roles.
Previously, Schaefer worked as a search consultant at a regional search firm focused on human resources leadership roles. Prior to moving into executive search, she served in a variety of corporate human resources positions.
Beth is an active member of Boston-area human resources organizations, local community arts and environmental sustainability organizations, and volunteers at a women’s shelter.
