With over two decades in corporate human resources and a decade specializing in executive recruitment across corporate, nonprofit, and higher education sectors, Beth Shaeffer is committed to the transformative power of exceptional leadership. Beth specializes in national searches for executive administration and academic leadership roles in operational management, human resources, financial management, enrollment management, institutional research, deans, and other areas of academic administration.

She has successfully partnered on searches with Barnard College, Boston College, Boston University, The Boston Library Consortium, Chicago Public Library, Emory University, Furman University, The High Line, Penn State University, Michigan State University, Northeastern University, Seattle University, The Seattle Public Library Board, Vanderbilt University, University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Michigan, University of North Carolina, the University of Notre Dame, the University of Washington, Wayne State University, the Urban Libraries Council and Yale University, among others.

Prior to joining Koya Partners | Diversified Search Group, Beth spent five years with Neumann Executive Search Partners (formerly Brill Neumann Associates), first as a senior consultant and later as principal. At Neumann, Beth developed a wide network of contacts through her work in various areas across academic and administrative leadership roles.

She also served in various corporate human resources positions ranging from well-established professional services companies to early-stage technology organizations.

Beth is an active participant in career coaching and on panels with NACUBO, EACUBO, SACUBO, and ACE.

She is an active member of Boston-area human resources organizations, local community arts and environmental sustainability organizations, and volunteers at a women’s shelter.
