Anne Koellhoffer

Managing Associate

Education, Executive Search, Higher Education, Managing Associate

Anne Koellhoffer came to executive search work in 2016 and specializes in the higher education and educationally focused nonprofit areas. She has assisted numerous committees with dean, cabinet-level, and presidential searches. Ms. Koellhoffer enjoys learning what makes each of her clients’ institutions unique, what they are most proud of, and where they hope their next leader can take them in order to find the best match between candidate and position.

Anne’s goal with all of her clients is to be responsive to their specific needs, from advising on the makeup of the search committee to best reflect the community to customizing the stages of the search process to best meet expectations to adjusting timelines to meet changing expectations. Having consulted with over 50 different search committees, the majority under the tutelage of firm founder Shelly Storbeck, Anne brings a combination of experience and innovation to her work.

Prior to joining Storbeck Search, Anne worked in development and alumni relations. Until 2016, Anne served as the Assistant Director for the Fund for Penn Law at the University of Pennsylvania’s Carey School of Law, one of the country’s top-ranked law schools. In this role, Anne met with hundreds of Penn Law graduates each year to connect them back to campus and encourage their support of the law school’s annual fund. Anne also worked in development and alumni relations at Haverford College and The Philadelphia Foundation.
