Clackamas Community College (CCC) in Oregon City, Oregon invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean, Academic Foundations and Connections. The Dean of the Academic Foundations and Connections represents a unique and rewarding career opportunity for an accomplished professional who appreciates the value of developing the whole student academically and with the right support systems. The dean leads an insightful combination of both academic and student services departments including Adult Basic Skills, Counseling, English, English for Speakers of Other Languages, the Learning Center, Health and Physical Education, and Math. The Dean’s portfolio of responsibilities also contains the functions of Enrollment Services (Admissions and Recruitment, Registration and Records, and Graduation Services), Financial Aid and Scholarships, Student and Academic Support Services (Academic Advising, Career Services, Disability Resource Services, and Veteran’s Center), Testing and Placement Services, and Student Life and Title IX. This exciting opportunity integrates foundational academic programs with the services students need to succeed in their first year at the College and beyond.
The Dean reports to the Vice President of Instruction and Student Services and is also a member of the President’s Executive team. The Dean is a liaison to a variety of College committees, works closely and collaboratively with the Deans of the other Instruction and Student Services divisions, and holds the responsibility for implementing and revising the College’s Strategic Enrollment Management plan.
This is an on-campus, full-time position. The salary range is $130,056.34 - $188,034.87 and will be commensurate with experience.
