Amy Shea, Veteran Talent Strategist and Career Coach, Joins Diversified Search Group

PHILADELPHIA – Amy Shea, a veteran talent strategist and career coach, joined the Diversified Search Group (DSG) as a Managing Director in the Nonprofit Practice, effective June 15, 2021. She is based out of Southern California.

Shea joins DSG as an accomplished search leader and career coach with over 15 years of experience building and managing client relationships, overseeing full life-cycle search processes, and coaching executives through career transitions. She has partnered closely with boards of directors and senior leaders in the nonprofit, for-profit, and social impact sectors, nationwide. Most recently, Shea served as a Managing Consultant at Korn Ferry, where she worked with nonprofits, associations, and educational institutions to place senior-level executives and emerging leaders.

Before joining Korn Ferry, Shea served as an executive recruiter and career coach for Koya Partners, guiding senior leaders in transforming their careers. Shea launched and led all aspects of the Career Services program and coached and inspired individuals on various career services topics to feel empowered and invested in achieving career goals.

Before joining the executive search field, Amy served as the Associate Director of Recruitment and Selection at The Broad Center, where she recruited executive leadership talent nationwide to become the next generation of urban school district leaders. She also served as Senior Recruiter at Bain & Company. Shea spent several years overseeing and increasing awareness of internship programs at both Boston University and Emerson College as well as counseling students and alumni. She began her career in media relations at Citigate Cunningham where she successfully managed national media relations and strategic communications programs for major high-tech and consumer companies.
