Triada Stampas

Impact Leader

Community FoodBank of New Jersey

Koya | Diversified Search Group partnered with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) on the search for an Impact Leader. Our work resulted in the placement of Triada Stampas.

CFBNJ is the state’s largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization. Working together with volunteers, donors, and our many partners, the organization fills the emptiness caused by hunger with Food, Help, and Hope.

A nationally recognized anti-hunger advocate, Triada Stampas (she/her) has devoted her career to empowering marginalized communities and meaningfully improving people’s lives by spurring policy- and systems-level change. Combining quantitative and qualitative insights, her approach has resulted in the passage of new laws, increases in programmatic funding, and the development of innovative strategies to tackle difficult social problems.

Stampas has researched, monitored, and evaluated programs that range from multi-million-dollar government initiatives to volunteer-run food distribution operations. She has leveraged data and service delivery insights to provide a systems-level understanding of hunger that motivates action and builds a compelling case for support. As Vice President for Research and Public Affairs for Food Bank For New York City, she conducted regular assessments of New York City’s emergency food network to inform and guide the organization’s service delivery and capacity building strategies.

Most recently, Stampas was Policy Director for the American Civil Liberties Union of Alaska, where she led the organization’s efforts in policy advocacy and organizing. She worked with directly impacted people to advance nondiscrimination rights, expand civil liberties protections, and create the state’s first civilian oversight body for the police force.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and her master’s degree in Public Administration from Columbia University.
