Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Operations Finance, the Vice President, Workforce Management (VPWM) will have responsibility for the overall enterprise leadership of workforce management to include: Labor Management/Productivity, Labor Management Analytics, Contract Labor Management, TRA (Tenet’s internal staffing organization), Staffing and acuity systems, and regional/market based hospital recruitment teams.
The VPWM is responsible for the enterprise success of end-to-end workforce management. This position sets the vision for securing the right quantity of people with the right skills, in the most efficient way possible. This enables the organization to operate efficiently and effectively by ensuring seamless operating procedures across the areas of responsibilities. The VPWM works closely with corporate and market senior leadership teams as well as partner teams to execute against the organization’s strategies.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, and a Master’s degree in Business or a related discipline strongly preferred
- Minimum five years of progressive healthcare workforce management experience is required, with a preference for ten years of relevant experience and a clinical background.
