We are proud to be partnering with Piedmont Healthcare to recruit the System Chief of Neuroscience. The System Chief of Neuroscience will provide strategic leadership, vision, and performance of the Neuroscience Institute. The Chief will have administrative and clinical responsibility and model behaviors and actions that in support of the Piedmont mission, vision, and values, that fulfills our promise to make a positive difference in every life we touch. The Chief provides system-wide clinical and administrative leadership for the Neuroscience Service Line and is expected to lead the development and enhancement of service line quality, clinical, educational, and research activities, in accordance with the visions and plans Piedmont Medical Care Corporations (PMCC).
The System Chief of Neuroscience is responsible for overseeing, directing, and implementing clinical services, including managing medical staff, budgets, and formulating policies and procedures. Additionally, the Chief provides input in the implementation of PMCC strategic plan and dashboard measures through coordination of efforts amongst the Physician Leadership Committee (PLC) members. This position reports to the Chief of Staff for the Physician Enterprise and directs the Neuroscience and Neurology Directors, Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
- MD/DO from accredited school.
- Board certification in Neurosurgery.
- Ability to obtain medical license in the state of GA.
- Eight (8) years of professional clinical experience in Neurology or Neurosurgery.
- Demonstrated leadership in a medical staff or group practice leadership position
