Allina Health is a 13 hospital, integrated delivery system with 12 hospitals providing perinatal, obstetrical, normal newborn and neonatal services. Minnesota locations include Abbott Northwestern Hospital, United Hospital, Mercy Hospital, Unity Hospital, Buffalo Hospital, Cambridge Medical Center, New Ulm Medical Center, Owatonna Hospital, Regina Medical Center, St. Francis Regional Medical Center, and District One Hospital. Allina Health has one western Wisconsin location in River Falls, WI. Allina Health is the largest OB delivery system in the state with over 15,500 deliveries annually. Minnesota Perinatal Physicians, the Allina Health employed practice, is one of the largest perinatal practices in the nation with 6 clinic locations and multiple outreach sites within Minnesota as well as an outreach clinic located in North Dakota.

Position Overview

The President is responsible for organization results achieved in accordance with group-directed policies. Establishes organizational goals and objectives and approves strategic plans for implementation. Serves as President of MPP under a dyad structure with the Practice Administrator. Coordinates efforts with the Practice Administrator and Administrative/Clinical Quality Directors who manage clinical, financial and operational aspects of perinatal services. Chairs the Executive Committee of MPP, serves as the primary perinatal liaison to the Mother Baby Clinical Service Line (MB CSL), and participates on various committees. The President will lead the strategic growth, operational direction, and clinical quality improvement of MPP. Within Allina Health, the President will coordinate a seamless approach to integrating MFM best practices, standards of care, and spearhead the development of specialized programs for high-risk populations.


  • Board Certified Perinatologist in good standing.
  • Master’s degree or certificate in healthcare business administration or related field preferred.
  • Three plus years’ leadership experience or equivalency in multi-physician clinic or integrated health system environment required.
  • Demonstrated a successful track record of working effectively with physicians and clinical staff, new business development, revenue growth, and margin management.
