The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites nominations and applications for the position of Executive Director of the Office of Instructional Technology and Faculty Resources. The University seeks a visionary, innovative, highly collaborative leader to advance the university’s education mission.
The Executive Director will provide leadership for the operations of the Office of Instructional Technology and Faculty Resources (ITFR). Three unit directors within ITFR report to the Executive Director, each one leading (1) Instructional Technology; (2) Academic Media Services; and (3) Classroom Technology. ITFR follows a philosophy that all technologies used in education need to be in the service of optimizing teaching and learning.
The Executive Director of ITFR reports to the Associate Provost for Education Innovation and Student Life. The Executive Director will be appointed a faculty member within the Department of Academic Affairs Faculty.
