About the Millennium Park Foundation

Millennium Park is Chicago’s world-renowned public park and a world-class destination for culture. It is home to the acclaimed Frank Gehry-designed Pritzker Pavilion, Anish Kapoor’s Cloud Gate, Jaume Plensa’s Crown Fountain, the Lurie Garden, a winter skating rink, a public plaza and more.

Millennium Park provides free year-round programming for all, including concerts, music festivals, film screenings, garden strolls and art exhibitions that delight, inspire and engage. Each year, 20 million people from across Chicago and around the world visit Millennium Park to view an exhibit, attend a performance, enjoy green space in the center of the city or play in a fountain under the projected photographs of Chicago’s many diverse citizens.

The Millennium Park Foundation (MPF) is an independent, private foundation dedicated to the stewardship of Millennium Park as an arts and culture space that remains free and open to all visitors for generations to come.

In partnership with the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), Millennium Park Foundation is committed to the ongoing enhancement of Millennium Park and is responsible for several features within, including the Park’s public garden and sculpture galleries.
