The Opportunity

Working closely with the executive director and program managers, the grants manager plays an integral role in the overall operation of the foundation, ensuring timely and accurate reporting as well as detailed project and process management.

  • Maintain grants management database
  • Prepare reports, analyses, presentations, and other documents that support grant decision-making and tracking of progress
  • Create meeting materials, board minutes, grant agreements, reporting templates, and grant letters for use across the foundation’s grant programs
  • Schedule meetings and travel
  • Assist program staff with research and analysis of potential funding initiatives and projects
  • Support program staff with reviewing and renewing grants
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 – 5 years of professional experience
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is essential; experience with Fluxx a plus
  • Appreciation for and commitment to the foundation’s mission
  • Outstanding organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive work style, self-motivated
  • Ability to interact effectively with leadership, staff, and grantee partners
  • Impeccable integrity; tactful and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to thrive on a small team in service of the founders’ priorities

This position reports to the executive director and program managers and will be based in New York, NY. From April 2022, team members will work in the office on a hybrid basis.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range from $100,000-115,000, inclusive of performance-based bonus. Compensation includes comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401K, vacation, and family and medical leave.
