Position Overview

The Chief Revenue Cycle Officer leads the system-wide coordination and optimization of the revenue cycle across all of UC San Diego Health. The Chief will assume strategic and operational accountability for all aspects of the revenue cycle, including but not limited to patient access, HIM/coding, revenue integrity, patient financial services, physician revenue cycle, the single business office and clinical research billing. The role is responsible for supervising revenue cycle staff, processes and technology that support multiple locations.

The successful candidate will have a career track of progressive, documented accomplishments in increasingly complex revenue cycle management roles in a large, complex organization, preferably with some experience in an academic healthcare environment.


  • Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred.
  • Ten or more years of Healthcare Finance Management required.
