The Executive Director serves as an internal consultant to the health system, hospitals and physician leaders for the orthopedics service line. In concert with physician leaders, is responsible for ensuring a consistent orthopedics brand and comprehensive, integrated care experience across the organization. Partners with PHC hospital administrators and local entity orthopedics operational leaders to coordinate and facilitate the system-wide strategy for orthopedics that delivers a high quality and consistent care experience, while serving the unique needs of our local communities. Serves as the administrative director for the orthopedics Clinical Governance Council.
- Master’s degree required from a recognized college or university in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Ten (10) years of progressively responsible professional work experience in strategic program development, change management, performance improvement and/or management consulting in a healthcare environment.
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare industry, ability to think strategically, and experience in business development and growth.
- Experience in orthopedics program management preferred.
