Position Overview

The Executive Director serves as an internal consultant to the health system, hospitals and physician leaders for the orthopedics service line.  In concert with physician leaders, is responsible for ensuring a consistent orthopedics brand and comprehensive, integrated care experience across the organization.   Partners with PHC hospital administrators and local entity orthopedics operational leaders to coordinate and facilitate the system-wide strategy for orthopedics that delivers a high quality and consistent care experience, while serving the unique needs of our local communities.  Serves as the administrative director for the orthopedics Clinical Governance Council.


  • Master’s degree required from a recognized college or university in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Ten (10) years of progressively responsible professional work experience in strategic program development, change management, performance improvement and/or management consulting in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of healthcare industry, ability to think strategically, and experience in business development and growth.
  • Experience in orthopedics program management preferred.
