Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh (“CMP”) is a family of four diverse, dynamic museums: Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Carnegie Science Center and The Andy Warhol Museum. The mission of CMP is to preserve and expand the resources of art and science as agents of personal growth and social advancement in Pittsburgh and beyond.

CMP engages more than 1.5 million individuals a year through exhibitions, educational programs, outreach activities and special events.

The Opportunity

Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh is seeking a bold leader who will inspire sustainable change and chart the future course for inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility objectives across four distinct museums.

This inaugural leader will report to the President & CEO of CMP. They will be provided with essential resources to embed IDEA as a key driver for innovation across the greater Pittsburgh region and the international museum community.

They will collaborate with the CMP IDEA Council, CMP senior leadership team, cross-functional museum departments and external partners to advance IDEA principles.
