The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the overall management of all financial, Information Technology (IT), and Facilities for Whitman-Walker Health, Whitman-Walker Health System, and related entities: Whitman- Walker Institute, Whitman-Walker Foundation, and WWHS Real Property Holdings.
The CFO is also responsible for ensuring accurate reporting related to all Whitman-Walker entities and for preserving appropriate segregation of financial systems of Whitman-Walker Health, Whitman-Walker Health System, and related entities. The CFO is also responsible for the direct management of Information Technology and Facilities. Duties include day to day management of a diverse and dynamic team, financial reporting and analysis, cash management, budgeting, internal accounting controls and policies, regulatory compliance, and annual audit support. For management of IT and Facilities, duties include extensive vendor management, facility considerations as part of larger asset distribution and oversight, and assurance of appropriate information security protocols. The CFO is part of a team devoted to the health and wellness of the communities served by Whitman-Walker. The position reports dually to CEO of Whitman- Walker Health and CEO of Whitman-Walker Health System.
