Position Overview 

The VP Experience will lead and inspire teams to bring to life the experience vision of Allina Health. This work will be grounded in the communities served, in a team culture that is centered on each employee, patient and/or consumer. The VP Experience will be an innovative, collaborative and pragmatic leader with a drive to meaningfully improve the consumer experience across digital, physical, and phone channels. This leader will have a proven ability to create a system-wide experience vision and subsequently execute the vision by partnering with multiple teams and technology to ultimately improve customer and employee experiences. The VP Experience will bring both a deep expertise in human-centered design and an ongoing curiosity to learn from patients, consumers and employees. This leader will foster a culture that partners with, and empowers, employees across Allina Health to create more meaningful experiences for those we serve. 


  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment  
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent education and experience) in consumer experience, marketing, technology, or related field required  
  • 10 years of progressive experience in either CX, digital, or related field  
  • 5+ years of industry experience leading consumer experience teams that implement human-centered design strategies.  
  • 5+ years managing and implementing complex programs or products across multiple teams, disciplines and channels.  
  • 5+ years of experience in cross-functional teams collaborating with and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders  
  • 5+ years implementing and/or utilizing consumer data to drive key decision and experiences  
  • Demonstrated experience in creating change across a complex organization that drives experience improvements  
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, including significant experience building and leading healthy teams
