Since 1987, RedRover has focused on bringing animals out of crisis and strengthening the human-animal bond through emergency sheltering, disaster relief services, financial assistance, and humane education. By engaging volunteers and supporters, collaborating with others, and maximizing the use of online technology, RedRover has worked to build relationships and connections between humans and animals toward a more caring and compassionate world. Through three major program areas, RedRover has provided critical support and companionship for a range of communities, including classroom learners, survivors of domestic violence, and animals in crisis, through interactive programs, financial assistance, emergency services, and advocacy.
As RedRover approaches a pivotal point in its history and organizational growth, the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will continue RedRover’s progress as one of the premier animal welfare organizations in the country and beyond. With a current budget of $6M and 22 dedicated and passionate staff members, RedRover is poised to continue growing its meaningful programs and expand its impact with both animals and humans across emergency care, education, and domestic violence survival resources. The CEO will passionately advocate for the RedRover’s mission across fundraising, program, and partnership efforts and thoughtfully collaborate with the Board and staff to ensure organizational health, sustainability, and growth. Keeping the organization’s goals and commitments in mind, the CEO will utilize strong, creative leadership and planning to drive RedRover’s unique work, guide the organization’s direction, and move RedRover forward toward fulfilling its mission and vision for the organization’s future.
