The mission of Black Owners of Solar Services (B.O.S.S.) is to combine and leverage the collective power of its members - entrepreneurs, financiers, attorneys, engineers, contractors, developers, and other peer partners - to lead actionable solutions for sustained access to equitable opportunities in clean energy production, distribution, and storage for Black-owned businesses. They represent over 200 solar and energy storage developers, engineers, installers, financiers, law firms, and nonprofits across the United States.

THE OPPORTUNITY: Executive Director
Black Owners of Solar Services (B.O.S.S.) seeks an Executive Director (ED) to help lead the solar industry to address market barriers, scale up this cutting‐edge, mission‐ driven organization, and create economic opportunities that remove barriers to justice, equity, and inclusion. The Board of Directors welcomes applications from visionary, experienced, and resourceful leaders ready to roll up their sleeves and build an organization from the ground up that builds out a bold vision of a clean energy transition led by Black business leaders. The B.O.S.S. Executive Director will have the vision, leadership, and genuine commitment to developing a successful nonprofit that will dramatically scale the number, geographic distribution, and size of Black owned businesses in the clean energy industry.
