The Opportunity
In February 2023, Covenant House International welcomed a new CEO, Bill Bedrossian who is focused on fulfilling the organization’s mission to carry out its work across CHI sites in 34 cities in the US, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. A key priority for CHI going forward is enhancing the culture and investing in teams domestically and internationally. The Senior Vice President for People and Culture will help build and strengthen the organization’s capacity to define an integrated people strategy that is informed by data and employee experience across the entire federation. The SVP for People and Culture’s key role will be to act as a collaborative leader and highly skilled thought partner, advising on best practices as various departments and CHI affiliate sites assess, enhance and develop processes and solutions that align with the overall vision for all employees to work, develop and succeed. The SVP for People and Culture will also play an active role in shaping inclusive HR policies and practices, driving HRIS systems integration, delivering proactive approaches to recruitment and retention, addressing complex employee relations and comprehensive benefits matters and streamlining efficient operational HR procedures. As a member of a fully remote senior leadership team, this role reports to the Chief of People, Culture and Inclusion, Carlette Mack and has 4 direct reports.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The salary range for this role begins at $175,000 - $210,000 annually, plus a competitive benefits package.
