
About Latino Corporate Directors Association
The Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA) focuses on growing the supply of high-caliber boardroom candidates and providing quality corporate governance programming for experienced and aspiring directors. LCDA focuses on three strategic areas:
- Grow the Supply: Provide programs designed to identify, prepare, and grow the pool of Latino board-qualified candidates.
- Grow the Demand: Work with strategic partners and influencers to increase opportunities for a greater number of talented Latinos to serve on corporate boards.
- Raise Awareness: Convene directors and leading authorities to promote excellence in corporate governance and promote thought leadership on board diversity.
Fully operational since 2016, LCDA was founded by a pioneering group of Latino corporate directors along with leaders from the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR), LCDA serves as an advocate and resource to corporate boards, search firms, private equity, and institutional investors interested in gaining access to exceptional Latino board talent. LCDA is the only national association of US Latino corporate board members that serve on publicly traded and large privately held company boards, as well as C-level and board-qualified executives.
The LCDA is a 501(c)6 membership organization and 501(c)3 nonprofit, nonpartisan organization. LCDA convenes some of the most accomplished Latino executives at the highest levels of corporate leadership who are committed to paying it forward and advancing the mission to develop, support and increase the number of US Latinos on corporate boards. The Opportunity
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for managing a team of 14 and shaping and implementing the organization’s strategic vision through oversight of LCDA’s programming, marketing, fundraising, and finances. The CEO will have a passion for the mission of accelerating and advocating for Hispanic and Latino placement on corporate boards. This transformational leader will be able to effectively communicate the mission, vision, and direction of LCDA to a multitude of stakeholders including LCDA members, donors, sponsors, partners, employees, corporate institutional investors, legislators and board members.
The CEO will serve as a fundraiser, advocate and public face of LCDA and work closely with board members, LCDA members, collaborative partners, donors, and organizations to identify key partnerships and initiatives. The CEO will be an excellent leader and people manager and will work to build unwavering trust among LCDA members, leadership team, and the LCDA Board. A passionate innovator, the CEO will be responsible to continuously create and execute programs and service offerings that will enable and advance LCDA’s mission and vision.
The CEO will be dedicated to the growth and retention of LCDA membership while advancing LCDA forward as one of the most highly regarded Latino leadership organizations in the US.
