THE OPPORTUNITY
CapRadio is seeking a proven leader and capacity builder to serve as its next President & General Manager to lead CapRadio in this next chapter. The near term goals are to provide the financial stability and strategic clarity necessary to foster CapRadio’s evolution into a more visible, multi-platform media service and anchor institution for Sacramento and its surrounding regions. The next President & GM will help stabilize CapRadio and lead the team to fulfill its potential in this next chapter.
This new leader arrives at an important and challenging moment for the organization. CapRadio’s growth has expanded its service and its ambitions, as well as its costs. As a result, this next leader will be entering CapRadio during a time of both challenge and possibility. They will need to provide essential near-term operational and financial leadership, while articulating a clear and inspiring path forward for the organization and the broader community. They will do so with the benefit of an engaged Board, highly-talented staff, committed university partner, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a history of stellar service in a diverse, rapidly growing region.
