
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York (“Catholic Charities”) seeks an experienced, forward-thinking, and thoughtful Human Resources professional to join its leadership team as its Chief People Officer (CPO). The CPO will be primarily responsible for overseeing HR functions for the 800+ employees of Catholic Charities’ premier agency, Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS); will provide HR services for smaller CC agencies under Business Services Agreements; and will serve as a resource for CC federation agencies on HR and talent management matters.
The CPO coordinates and directs strategic and operational decision-making in the planning, development, and implementation of meaningful and measurable human resource programs and services. The CPO will have accountability for developing and providing comprehensive human resources services, expertise, and policies and applying best practices specifically in the areas of total rewards, employee relations, succession planning, talent management, policy, culture building, organizational and performance management, and professional development.
