The Opportunity
United Way of Central Indiana is seeking a strategic, collaborative and results driven leader to serve as Vice President, Major & Transformational Giving as it embarks on the implementation of its new strategic plan.
Reporting to and working closely with the Chief Fundraising and Engagement Officer, this leader will be tasked with strengthening the major gifts pipeline and donor commitments in order for UWCI to fulfill its mission. They will also partner with other departments and leaders throughout UWCI to grow and diversify its base of philanthropic support by driving strategic approaches to donor relations and cultivation. Through deepening strong, trust-based relationships with various funders, the VP will play a critical role in the ultimate impact and reach of the organization.
As a key figure in departmental leadership, they will also be responsible for developing and managing a talented and highly committed team. With a necessity for attention to detail in conjunction with big-picture thinking, this role offers the opportunity for a skilled people leader and relationship builder to collaborate with mission-driven, dedicated individuals.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The salary range for this role is $100,000 – $125,000 with a generous benefits package.
