
Bryn Mawr College, a distinguished women’s liberal arts college, seeks a collaborative, student-focused, forward-thinking leader to serve in a newly created position as Dean of Student Life. The Dean of Student Life will direct and oversee a wide variety of programs that serve a diverse student population and help prepare students to solve the problems of, and to thrive in, a complex and rapidly evolving world.
Reporting to the Dean of the Undergraduate College as a member of the leadership team, the Dean of Student Life will partner with the Dean of the Undergraduate College to advance and implement an innovative and unifying strategic vision, enhance and cultivate a holistic student experience rooted in belonging and wellbeing and student success. Specifically, the Dean of Student Life will be directly responsible for Health and Wellness (Counseling Center and Medical Center), Student Engagement, Residential Life, and Title IX. Additionally, the Dean of Student Life will lead the on-call system, honor board and accountability processes. To ensure success, the Dean of Student Life will collaborate with students, staff, and faculty to enhance a welcoming, supportive, and intellectually engaging environment that builds community and maximizes opportunities for student learning, engagement, and success.
