The next Chief Executive Officer of LGC will lead the organization to even greater levels of strategic influence, impact, and innovation as the region’s premier organization for fostering and growing civic leadership. The CEO will have the unique opportunity to build on LGC's established, engaged, and passionate Fellowship community of more than 1,300 leaders and will serve as a creative thought leader for its continued growth and development.
Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO will lead overall strategic, operational, financial, and managerial responsibility for LGC, including financial oversight of a $2.5 million annual operating budget, curriculum, public relations, staff oversight, education, and special events. The CEO will identify and implement strategic initiatives that expand LGC's capacity and will partner with the organization as a whole to establish engaging programmatic curriculum annually.
An inspirational leader, the CEO will naturally foster an inclusive sense of community and will steward meaningful relationships with a diverse array of internal and external constituents. Moreover, they will believe in the power of leaders to affect positive change and they will relish the opportunity to engage deeply in the most important issues and challenges of the day.
