Organizational Profile
The Forum of Executive Women is a membership organization of nearly 600 women of influence in the Greater Philadelphia Region with members occupying top positions in public and private companies, “meds and eds”, arts, government and every other segment that drives the region’s economy. As the region’s premier women’s organization, The Forum fulfills its mission – to bring together and leverage the influence of professional women to expand the impact and power of women in the workplace and beyond – by supporting women in leadership roles, promoting parity in the corporate world, mentoring young women and providing a forum for the exchange of diverse views, contacts and information.
Founded 45 years ago, the organization has grown significantly in size and scope and is an unparalleled resource in the region. Through its numerous committees and initiatives, including an annual Women in Leadership report detailing the gender diversity in regional C-suites and boardrooms, a regular Pay Parity report investigating compensation structures, and advocacy at the state and national level, the Forum provides its members with opportunities for both professional and personal growth as well as actionable resources women can use to effect change in their workplaces and communities.
The Opportunity
The President & CEO is responsible for leading and executing the mission, vision, programming and strategic plan of the organization and driving the mission and vision of The Forum both internally and externally. Other key duties include fundraising, identifying strategic partnerships, marketing and community outreach. The President & CEO is responsible for managing a membership of nearly 600 senior executive women as well as the growing cohort of Spark members who are developing their executive leadership and civic engagement.
