About the Steve Fund
The creation of The Steve Fund was inspired by the life and character of Steve Rose as a testament to the importance of mental health and emotional well-being of our nation’s young people of color.
Starting with college students, but expanding outside this frame in recent years, the current mission of the Steve Fund is to promote the mental health and emotional well-being of young people of color as they transition from adolescence into higher education, throughout their higher education experience, and as they transition into the workforce so they can attain personal, academic, and career success and achieve their full potential.
The Opportunity
The Steve Fund, poised and positioned to begin its next chapter, is seeking a dynamic and exceptionally strong enterprise leader to direct operations and execute on its major programs and fundraising initiatives under a new three-year strategic plan.
Taking the organization to new heights, the next Executive Director will serve as a catalyst for improving the lives of young people of color who are disproportionately affected by the youth mental health crisis.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role will be based on a range, starting at $250,000 - $300,000 with a competitive benefits package plus bonus commensurate with the successful candidate’s skills, measurable outcomes, and experience.
