About The Chicago Community Trust
As one of the nation’s oldest and largest community foundations, The Chicago Community Trust unites donors, committed nonprofits, the public and private sectors, and caring residents to effect lasting change that makes the Chicago region better for all. The Trust offers multiple ways for donors and their professional advisors to connect their philanthropy to impact, including donor advised funds, endowed funds, supporting organizations, impact investing, and charitable estate planning services. After over a century of addressing the most critical needs facing the Chicago region, in 2019, the Trust announced it would focus its attention over the next decade on working to close Chicago’s growing racial and ethnic wealth gap.
