Malaria No More - Board Member
ABOUT MALARIA NO MORE
Malaria No More envisions a world where no one dies from a mosquito bite. Since our founding in 2006 at the White House Summit on Malaria hosted by President Bush, our work has contributed to historic progress toward this goal. Now, we’re mobilizing the political commitment, funding, and innovation required to achieve what would be one of the greatest humanitarian accomplishments – ending malaria within our generation.
At this stage in our mission, MNM is significantly diversifying our areas of impact, building key new competencies and attracting new sources of funding for emerging program areas (e.g., climate adaptation, innovative finance, new technologies). As we prepare for significant growth and diversification, we’re seeking an entrepreneurial leader and change agent who will work with the Board and CEO to ensure we invest in the people, places, and programs to fuel our growth while remaining on track to realize our goal of making malaria no more.
MNM is a global organization with offices in Seattle, Washington, D.C., and New Delhi, India, affiliates in the United Kingdom and Japan, and sister organizations in Africa.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The MNM Board is committed to advancing and contributing to organizational goals. Board members include media, business, and government leaders, who provide organizational oversight, as well as strategic counsel and guidance to members of the leadership team. Additionally, directors represent the organization amongst key governmental and business contacts throughout the world.
MNM’s Board of Directors is seeking candidates for Director roles to expand the current Board’s skill set. The ideal candidates will support MNM as we work to mobilize the political commitment, funding, and innovation required to achieve what will be one of the greatest humanitarian accomplishments—eradicating the world’s oldest and deadliest disease.
