Founded in 2016, Aurum Preparatory Academy (Aurum Prep) is an innovative and nationally recognized tuition free public charter school serving children in grades 6-8 in East Oakland, California. Aurum Prep welcomes nominations and recommendations for an experienced and dynamic leader to become its next Executive Director.

About the Role and Its Opportunities
The Executive Director (ED) will drive the mission and vision of Aurum Prep while leading its next phase of academic excellence and growth. As the chief academician, the ED will prioritize the needs of students, families, faculty, and staff, ensure high ethical standards and compliance with laws, policies, and procedures governing performance, child safety and school safety. Fundraising and community building experience is a plus. School leaders with a proven track record of leading, coaching, developing, and retaining a high-performing leadership team are encouraged to apply.
Aurum Prep is committed to equity in its pay practices and posts expected compensation. This is a full-time position with a competitive benefits package. Salary will take into account years of experience, specialty skills, and other factors; the base salary begins at $145,000 - $160,000.
