Vice Chancellor for Student Engagement
Indiana University South Bend invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice Chancellor for Student Engagement. This role serves as the chief student affairs officer for the campus and includes oversight of Campus Housing, Career Services, Counseling, Dean of Students Services, Disability Support Services, Parent and Family Engagement, Student Life, Student Conduct, the Titans Feeding Titans Food Pantry, and Veteran’s Services. The Vice Chancellor for Student Engagement has a particular role in ensuring an equitable and inclusive experience for all students. Indiana University South Bend strives to achieve a high level of student engagement and success. Key to that success will be the leadership that the next Vice Chancellor can provide as both a strategic campus leader and a creative and empowering student affairs professional.
The next Vice Chancellor will play a critical role in implementing a new IU South Bend strategic plan as part of IU 2030 Indiana University’s new strategic plan. Strategic priorities for the Vice Chancellor will include leadership of a holistic case management process for the campus, enhanced student belonging initiatives, implementation of new parent and family engagement strategies, expansion of leadership development opportunities for students, and improved multicultural student programs and services.
