The Hotchkiss School invites nominations and applications for the role of Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Located in Lakeville, Connecticut, The Hotchkiss School is a leading independent boarding school that provides an education of academic distinction to 599 students in grades 9 through 12, and to a small number of postgraduates. Hotchkiss is a student-centered and mission-aligned learning community that offers outstanding academic preparation and life-changing opportunities while providing students with tools they need to become leaders and change-makers.
The Hotchkiss School, led by the Head of School Craig W. Bradley, seeks to build on the foundational work of its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team. The Director will promote institutional equity and integrate an inclusion lens into all aspects of the school. Reporting directly to the Head of School and serving on the Senior Leadership Team, the Director will partner with the Head of School, Board of Trustees, DEI team, faculty, students, and staff to cultivate a unified vision for the school’s diversity, equity, and inclusion work as essential to educational excellence. The Director will support the school’s internal DEI work, particularly in its efforts to further define and enact its mission and commitment to academic excellence and accessibility.
