Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) seeks a strategic, collaborative, and engaged leader to serve as the next Vice President for Social Equity and Inclusion (VPSEI). The VPSEI plays a critical role in advancing the college’s ambitious commitments regarding social equity and inclusion. RISD aspires to be a radically inclusive institution and recognizes that structures, systems, processes, policies, and programs—enterprise-wide—must effectively advance SEI principles, goals, and outcomes in order for that aspiration to be realized. The VPSEI will collaboratively—through influence, and systematic and strategic action and thinking—lead this effort.
