About Building Impact
For twenty years, Building Impact has partnered with companies to strengthen communities through volunteering with local nonprofit organizations. We service 60+ buildings, helping over 500 companies and 20,000 people who volunteer, donate, and connect to the community. Over the past two years, we have expanded our programs nationally through our virtual volunteering platform, a foundation that has enabled us to work with volunteers and organizations serving all fifty states. Our mission is to strengthen communities by empowering individuals and companies with the opportunity to volunteer, donate, and connect with high impact, local nonprofits working on critical social issues.
Our organization pivoted at the onset of Covid-19, launching an innovative and impactful virtual volunteering model, built on a Google platform. During Covid-19, our virtual volunteering platform has allowed us to develop a national model that engages nonprofits and corporate teams across the United States, including such partners as: Zoom, Amazon, ESPN (Disney), Starbucks, Facebook, Google, Takeda, Vertex, Fidelity, PNC Bank, and many innovative startups. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, we’ve engaged nearly 20,000 corporate volunteers in virtual volunteering, supporting 100+ nonprofits to positively impact 160,000 lives and counting - it is an exciting time to join our team!
